Sweet Moonlit Buffalo Class

Paint a lovely buffalo, bathed in the light from the moon over the mountains! A little bit of buffalo trivia will be thrown in during the activity.

All tools and supplies are provided. Your 11”x14” canvas will be prepped for smooth painting and your buffalo outline drawn onto it by the instructor. A stencil will make sure your moon stays perfectly round. This is a 3 hour novice to intermediate acrylic painting class. (4.5 on scale below)

-One method to make a starry night sky

-How to paint a glowing full moon

-An easy way to make mountains look moonlit and distant

-What parts you don’t need to paint (render)

-How to paint wooly fur and highlights

-The anatomy of a buffalo eye

-How to paint colorful grasses

Ages 16 and up or 14 and up with a parent, are welcome. Dress appropriately for painting. Bring a snack, if you’d like.

Class size is limited; Please register in advance and arrive on time. Walk-ins are welcome, if there’s space, but must arrive at least 20 minutes early and notify the instructor right away.
