Mysterious Islands and the night sky, reflect in a body of water. A tree silhouette frames the full moon. A beautiful blend from deep violet to soft turquoise sets the stage for this fantasy painting. 

All tools and supplies, including an 8”x 10” canvas, plus instruction by Edie Dafoe, will be provided. A stencil will assure that your moon stays perfectly round.

What you’ll learn:

- How to make an element look distant

- How to make a starry sky

- Painting reflections

- How to get thin lines for branches 

Ages: 16 and up or 10 and up accompanied by a parent

Special Instructions:

Come dressed to paint and bring a drink and snack if desired. 

Cut-off time: 24 hours. Once the minimum class size is met with advance bookings, we’ll open it up for walk-ins. Walk-ins must arrive at least 20 early and notify the instructor right away.
